Nancy Ann Kamay died peacefully on October 20th, 2023 at the age of 86.
Nancy was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on December 30th, 1936 to Harry Emerson and Faith Hughes Dana. She spent her later years volunteering at her local hospital. Providing empathetic care and companionship to patients as well as staff.
Nancy was a devoted mother and avid golf watcher. She enjoyed talking on the phone with her sons about the different players and tournaments. She loved building puzzles, especially ones that depicted flowers or birds. She always looked outside her window to see the crisp blooms of Spring and cute critters that would perch on her porch.
Nancy was a spiritual woman and a devout Christian. She was always up bright and early for Sunday Worship. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kamay, and is survived by her sons, Randy and Peter Kamay; her grandchildren, Saxon Kamay, Alexa Herrin, and Ariana Reese; and her great grandsons, Haven and Pierce Kamay.
A service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on November 1st at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Joyce Meyer Ministries or the American Cancer Society.
